I recorded the first 5 tracks May 18, 2023 while my roof at home was being torn off and then a new one added on. Roof End was recorded 5-29-2023 and the EP album was fully mastered June 1, 2023. The idea here was about a loose base of jazz progressions: 3,6,2,5,1 with emphasis on improvisation. Also, I wanted to keep to using one guitar (tuned to drop C) and mostly the same effects/audio parameters. The overall variations occur with approach in chords/arpeggios/scales and the slowed down dynamics. MIDI accompanied keyboard is varied for each variation/track providing it's own color and instrument in contrast to the guitar. This release is part of a current guitar oriented simplified LP project that I started a few months ago which focuses on 1 take of 2 or 3 tracks per composition.
